Welcome to Bokehrama. Our mission is to create a global, supportive space where Black photographers can share their work, learn from one another, and grow together. To protect the integrity of photography and keep our community safe and inspiring, all members must follow these guidelines. By using Bokehrama, you agree to these rules.

1. No AI-Generated Images

Bokehrama does not allow AI-generated images, AI composites, AI-assisted renderings, or any work created primarily through artificial intelligence tools. Only real photographs captured with a camera are permitted. You may discuss AI as a topic, but AI-created imagery cannot be uploaded, shared, or promoted on the platform.

2. Respect Every Member

Treat everyone with kindness, professionalism, and courtesy. Harassment, discrimination, bullying, and hate speech are not tolerated. Respect differences in creative style, identity, skill level, and experience. Keep discussions civil, even when you disagree.

3. Share Responsibly

Only upload content you created and own. No violent, explicit, hateful, or illegal imagery. Stay on-topic and avoid spam, excessive self-promotion, or misleading content. Do not use deceptive editing practices that misrepresent your work.

4. Give Constructive Feedback

Offer feedback that is respectful, helpful, and actionable. Critique ideas, not people. If you request feedback, be open to receiving it with professionalism.

5. Protect Privacy and Consent

Do not share private information without permission. Obtain model releases where required, especially for commercial or sensitive subjects. Do not upload images that violate someone’s privacy or safety.

6. Copyright and Intellectual Property

Do not post stolen work, traced work, or work you do not hold rights to. Always credit collaborators when appropriate. Copyright violations may result in content removal or account action.

7. Keep the Community Safe

No scams, impersonation, fraudulent job postings, or misleading opportunities. If offering paid work, be clear about rates and expectations. Do not share harmful advice or unsafe shooting practices.

8. Promotions and Selling

Self-promotion is allowed only in designated spaces. Do not aggressively solicit sales, services, or follow-for-follow behavior.

9. Stay On-Topic

Bokehrama is a photography community. Keep posts, discussions, and contributions relevant to photography, creativity, or community connection.

10. Report Issues

If you see harmful behavior or rule-breaking content, report it so our team can review and take appropriate action. Avoid public callouts and let moderators handle violations.

11. Consequences

Bokehrama may issue warnings, remove content, or suspend accounts that violate guidelines. Severe or repeated violations can result in permanent removal.

12. Evolving Community Standards

As Bokehrama grows, these guidelines may evolve. Members will be informed of major updates.
